Do I have depression?

Depression can be difficult to properly identify. There are dozens of symptoms of depression and they can manifest in many ways. Below are some of the most common signs of depression:

  • Persistent feelings of sadness that do not go away
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Fatigue
  • Overeating or lack of appetite
  • Lack of interest in activities or social relationships
  • Frequent or persistent headaches, nausea, or other pain
  • Loss of, or decreased, libido
